摘　　要：民族区域自治制度是我国的一项基本政治制度,是处理我国民族问题的最佳形式。但在新时期,我国民族区域自治制度还存在许多不完善的地方,主要集中在自治地方未能很好地行使自治权和上级国家机关未能很好地领导、帮助自治地方发展等两个方面。为此,需在实践中通过进一步提高民族自治地方的自治能力,加强党的领导等措施不断加以完善。The regional national autonomy system is a basic political system in our country. And it is also the best way of dealing with national problems in our country. But in the new period, it isn＇t perfect completely. Autonomous region cant carry out the autonomous right well and the country government cant help the autonomous regious develop well. It is necessary to improve the autonomous ability and strengthen the Party＇s leadship and make of perfect.
