摘　　要：在推动现代小说向通俗化和大众化方面,徐訏小说做了有益的尝试。他的小说赓续传统的志怪、言情小说的精神余脉,在曲折生动的传奇故事背后,巧妙地借鉴了传统小说的某些叙述方法和言情模式;他小说的另一个表现维度就是对爱情与人性、生命与宗教的现代性追问,尤其是将精神分析学说引入文学创作中,通过复杂的心理分析,突入到人物的内心深处,从而极大拓展人性表现的力度和深度,这是徐訏小说的现代性的一个重要特点。XuXu＇s novels is an helpful attempt to promote modern novels＇popularization,which continues to use the ghost story tradition, follows the style of love story and skillfully uses some narrative methods and love modes of the traditional novels by virtue of some vivid plots. Another dimension of his novels is a modernistic inquiry into love＆humanity and life＆religion, especially which makes the complex psychoanalysis reaching the depth of humanity by introducing psychoanalytic theory to literature writing. It is an important characteristic of the modernity of XuXu＇s novel.
