摘　　要：由全球化引发的世界各种文化的融合与冲突,使巴蜀文化面临着巨大的挑战与机遇。如何重新定位巴蜀文化的历史与现实意义,挖掘其文化特征与内涵,发挥和保持其开放性、兼容性和创造性并促进文化交流,是促进西部文化建设与西部建设迫切需要解决的大问题。本文力图在全球化的视野下对巴蜀文化与美国西部文化这两种西部文化进行对比,从而凸现巴蜀文化的历史与现实意义。Cultural conflicts and blend in the process of globalization brings Ba - Shu culture great challenges and opportunities, thus it is of great significance to redefine the historic and practical meaning of Ba - Shu culture, to explore its cultural features and connotations, to maintain its openness, compatibility, creativeness, and to promote cultural exchange. The paper aims at a comparison of Ba - Shu culture and American western culture in the view of globalization for the demonstration of the historic and practical meaning of Ba - Shu culture.
