摘　　要：针对五元索引结构在编码上的不足,提出了更为紧凑的四元索引结构。基于该结构扩展了SQL语言,根据XML数据的底层结构实现了扩展的SQL运算符,设计了基于SQL语言的XPath优化方案。实验表明,基于四元索引结构的优化方案在性能上有了显著改善。In order to resolve the problem of encoding in 5-dimensional index structure, a 4-dimensional index structure which is more compact is proposed. Based on 4-dimensional index structure, SQL language is extended, Extended SQL operators are implemented on the basis of XML underlying data structure, and based on SQL language, an XPath optimization scheme is designed. Experiments show that the performance of the optimization scheme based on 4-dimensional index structure is much better,
