摘　　要：针对H.264中多模式运动补偿的问题,通过在变换和量化操作之前检测与当前编码图像块最匹配的参考块,可以跳过某些编码模式。对于最匹配块,其后续编码过程可以省略,进一步降低了编码器的计算复杂性。试验结果表明:在信噪比和比特率保持相近的前提下,平均编码时间减少28.6%。An approach is presented to fast decide the inter modes in an H. 264 encoder. Based on the detection of the best matching block before transform and quantization, many unnecessary encoding modes can be skipped. For some best matching blocks the successive encoding steps can also be omitted, which speeds the encoding process further. The simulation results show that the proposed method achives a reduction of 28.6% of the encoding time on average and keeps almost the same PSNR and bit rate.
