摘　　要："新形式主义"诗歌是20世纪70年代末、80年代初在美国兴起的一个诗歌流派,在其兴起之日就遭到学院派诗人和批评家的攻击。分析了这一颇具影响力的诗歌流派的起源和成就,在对"新形式主义"与20世纪五六十年代格律诗的比较的基础上,肯定了它作为一个独特的文学现象所具备的美学价值。The paper analyses the origin and achievements of New Formalism, a poetic school that began to flourish in America in the late 20th century, and investigates the differences between the New Formalists and the metrical poets of the 1950s and 1960s, concluding that New Formalism, as a unique literary phenomenon, is justified in its existence by the aesthetic virtues it advocates.
