广州动物园草食类动物的饲养及其效果评价

摘　　要：广州动物园现有草食类动物36种,针对各种草食动物的习性特点,建立一套合理的饲养管理制度,筛选一批园养草食动物喜食的饲用植物,并建立了专用的草食动物饲草种植基地,保证各种园养草食动物的健康养殖及种群的稳定。Thirty six herbivore species were fed in Guangzhou zoo.Appropriate feeding and management systems were set up on their feeding habits; a number of forage plant species were sereened by their taste, the forage cultivation base for feeding of these herbi- vores was founded, so that their healthy and stable populations were maintained in the zoo.
