分布式地图数据库系统和地理信息元数据在WebGIS中的应用

摘　　要：地理信息数据本身具有分布式特征,这种特征要求地理信息数据进行分布式组织和管理。笔者讨论了WebGIS如何利用分布式地图数据库系统和地理信息元数据进行地理信息数据的管理与查询。Geographic information data itself were distributed. The character required that geographic information data should be organized and managed distributively. In this paper, how WebGIS applied distributed map database system and geographic information metadata in the management and query of geographic information data were discussed.
