摘　　要：当今中国进行的死刑制度改革,有其良好的社会背景、政治背景和国际背景。中国死刑制度在立法和司法方面都已经有若干举措,并且产生了积极的效果。中国死刑制度改革的前景,仍然是立法改革和司法改革并行不悖。At present, China has comparatively perfect social background, political background and international background. Form the view of the reduction and control of the death penalty ; the legislation and the superior judicial authority have made many efforts during this period. There has made more progress in the reform of the death penalty both in the legislation and the judicial practice,but there still have a long way to go in the course of death penalty reform in China.
