热带杂交水稻新组合SL-8H在菲律宾选育成功及推广应用概述

摘　　要：被袁隆平院士誉为热带杂交水稻先锋组合的“SL-8H”，是中国杂交水稻工程技术研究中心与菲律宾西领农业技术公司合作在菲律宾成功选育的杂交水稻新组合。该组合在菲律宾种植平均产量为7．1t／hm^2，比常规品种平均增产1．5～2．5t／hm^2，2005年旱季的最高产量达15．2t／hm^2。其米质优良，已被菲律宾几家快餐连锁店定为专用米。该组合制种产量高，最高制种产量达到5．1t／hm2。西领农业科技公司目前已建成了中国以外的亚洲最大的杂交水稻种子生产基地和最完备的技术管理体系，其生产能力可满足菲律宾70％的杂交稻种子的市场需要。SL- 8H, a hybrid rice cultivar which was praised as ＂pioneer variety of tropical hybrid rice＂ by Prof. Long-ping Yuan, was developed after several year＇s hard work by the collaboration between China National Hybrid Rice Engineering and Technology Center and SL Agritech Corp in Philippines, and got great attention in the Philippines. By the end of 2004, SL- 8H was planted 356,000 hm^2, averaged 7.1 t/hm^2 with yield advantage for 1.5 ～ 2.5 t/hm^2 compared with inbred varieties. The highest yield was recorded as 15.2 t/hm^2 in dry season of 2005. The grain quality of SL- 8H was excellent that the milled rice of SL - 8H has been recognized as special rice for several fast food restaurants.
