摘　　要：在对近50多年来河北省耕地变化趋势分析的基础上，详尽阐析了1997～2004年河北省耕地资源数量下降的状况及其构成，探讨了河北省耕地减少的原因，并提出了耕地保护和可持续利用的对策。Based on analyzing the change trend of cultivated land in Hubei province during the last more than 50 years, the decrease status of the cultivated land resources quantity in Hebei province in 1997 - 2004 and their components were expatiated in detail. And the reasons that caused the decrease of the cultivated land in Hebei province were discussed and some countermeasures on the protection and the sustainable utilization of cultivated land were put forward.
