摘 要:针对气体火花开关工作频率低的缺点,以μs级上升时间和脉宽的单极性高压脉冲作为初级脉冲,通过ns火花开关的作用,得到频率为几千Hz、脉宽和上升时间都为ns级的重复脉冲。分别改变开关的工作气压、气体成分及直流偏置等工作条件,在不同的原始脉冲的间隔时间(200~1000μs)下,测量了两个连续脉冲的幅值和作用时间,进而研究了不同频率下开关工作条件对电压恢复特性的影响,并根据残余电荷的运动及分布,对其进行了讨论。结果表明:提高开关工作气压、掺入适量的SF6及施加合适的偏置直流电压都将改善开关的电压恢复特性。In order to improve working frequency of the gas spark gap switch, a unipolar pulse with the rise time and pulse duration in the order of microsecond is used as the primary source, a repetitive pulse with the frequency of several kilohertz is generated, which has the rise time and the pulse duration in tens of nanoseconds with the nanosecond gas spark gap switch. The frequency and amplitude of the output pulse can be continuously adjusted by the primary pulse source and the parameters (gap distance, gas pressure, gas composition, etc) of the gas spark gap switch, and the pulse width is determined by the value of the load resistance. By changing the running conditions such as gas pressure in the switch chamber, different gas compositions and ratios, different amplitudes of the bias DC voltage and so on, the amplitude and duration of the first two continuous output pulses are measured respectively in different interpulse durations (200~ 1 000 μs) of the primary pulse. Consequently, the effect of working conditions on the voltage recovery characteristic is researched under different pulse frequency. As a result, the characteristic of voltage recovery of the gas spark gap switch could be improved by these methods : increasing the gas pressure of the switch, mixing proper quantities SF6 into air (20% in the pressure), applying appropriate bias DC voltage (positive DC voltage with the amplitude of 1 kV) and so on.
