摘  要:本文分析了我国痘苗病毒天坛株基因组两端的HindⅢ-C和-B片段所编码的多肽,并与其他痘苗病毒株和正痘病毒进行了比较。结果表明,天坛株基因组HindII-C和-B片段共有46个主要的开放读码框架(PRFs),其中一个ORF属于痘苗病毒基因组中第一次发现的与天花病毒相似的基因编码区。此外,天坛株基因组丝氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂Ⅱ的编码区由于移码变异而分成两个不同ORFs。与其他痘苗病毒株相比,天坛株基因组有多个ORFs的缺失,以上现象提示,天坛株在生物学性状上与其他毒株的差异可能与此有关。Vaccinia virus strain Tian Tan had been widely used as vaccine to eradicate the smallpox in China.To further increase our insight into the genomic structural characteristics,we determined the sequences of Hind Ⅲ-C and-B fragments which are located in the terminal regions of the genome.Analysis showed 46 closely spaced ORFs specifying putative proteins containing more than sixty amino acids and most of the gene products correspond to proteins in current databases.Comparing with other vaccinia virus counterparts and other orthopoxvirus strains,strain Tian Tan has a group of proteins including Serpin II have been truncated or deleted due to frameshift,and a protein similar to that of smallpox virus for which no gene product homologues have been found in other vaccinia virus strains.It is suggested that these modifications may be related to the virulence and other biological characteristics of strain Tian Tan.
