摘　　要：研究了地理数据库中元数据的存储方法,提出了一种基于模式的空间元数据存储模型,并设计一种基于"元关系"的元数据与地理实体之间的同步更新机制,较好地解决了元数据与空间数据的集成管理、同步更新的问题.It is general in domestic or international GIS software to use business database to manage spatial metadata information, realize the integrated management and share information between metadata and spatial data. Currently there are some problems in the process of combining metadata technique with GIS software, such as separating metadata management from geographical database, the incompatibility of metadata storage model and new metadata standard, the inflexible synchronization mechanism between metadata and geographical entity. The research of metadata storage method in geographical database introduces a new schema-related storage model, and designs a synchronization mechanism based on ＂meta relation＂, good solutions between metadata and geographical entity.
