摘　　要：本文以中国佛教为例,围绕一个核心问题展开:历史文化如何影响宗教权威的建构及形成?本文尝试以"历史镶嵌"作为新的分析视角,对宗教权威进行研究。通过"历史镶嵌"视角,可以发现,在历史上,中国化的佛教权威基本上没有出现过与世俗权威平等的地位,需要在世俗权威的庇护下,才能获得合法性和神圣性。佛教的宗教权威除了受到特定的社会政治与经济影响外,其背后的历史文化的镶嵌也是非常重要的因素。Taking Chinese Buddhism as example, the article develops around a key problem： how historical culture affects the formulation of the religious authority. From the perspective of historical embedment, it tries to conduct enlightening study on the religious authority. From this standpoint, it finds that in history, Chinese Buddhist authority never enjoys the equal status as the secular authority. Only under the protection of the secular authority can it gain its validity and sanctity. Besides the influence from the social politics and economy, the embedment of the historical culture is also an important factor affecting the religious authority of Buddhism.
