摘　　要：英汉词汇象征含义异多同少。由文化因素引起的联想,词的指示意义,词义的演变与发展,社会文化背景均与词汇象征含义密切相关。我们研究词汇的象征含义应作深层、动态分析,只有这样才能揭示自然语言的内在规律。师者应该注重帮助学者培养文化意识。There is more difference than similarity in symbolic implications of words between English and Chinese, Association with cultural factors, denotative meaning, the change and development of word＇s meaning, social cultural background are related closely to symbolic implications. We should make a deep, dynamic analysis to disclose the internal law of language. Therefore, it is important for teachers to present more cultural knowledge in language teaching, and help students to form cultural awareness.
