摘　　要：MPLS(多协议标签交换)是一种可以提供高性价比和多业务能力的交换技术,作为新一代IP高速骨干网络交换的标准,MPLS具备流量工程、VPN业务以及QoS方面的功能.本文根据MPLS的这些技术特点和优势,结合当前CER-NET的网络现状,提出了在CERNET上应用MPLS技术可以从实现线路的负载均衡、充分利用备份线路、减少网络拥塞、提供VPN业务以及提高业务服务质量等方面改善网络性能;同时根据CERNET网络现状,指出在CERNET主干网上部署MPLS面临的一些具体问题.Acting as new IP switching standard in backbone network, MPLS （Multiprotocol Label Switch） is a switching technology with high performance and multi-functionality. It provided Traffic Engineering ability, VPN and QoS service. The article focuses on current CERNET status, combines with MPLS＇ technical advantage, illustrates some key benefits at MPLS applying in CERNET, including： achieving network load balance, taking full advantage of backup circuit, improving network utilization ratio, decreasing network congestion, improving service of quality, and providing VPN service. From these point of view, highlighted the importance of applying MPLS in CEILNET. At last based on current CERNET situation, provided some concerns which maybe encountered during the process of deploying MPLS in CERNET.
