摘　　要：信息弱势群体是指在当代社会信息化发展过程中,由于信息分化的作用,而在社会中凸显出来的一种在信息拥有与利用方面处于明显劣势地位的信息贫困人群。从人口学的角度分析,信息弱势群体的人口特征主要是残老人口典型化、女性人口偏高化、农村人口普遍化、低文化人口突出化、差就业人口多数化、低身份人口显著化、低收入人口集中化。由此可以看出,信息弱势群体在很大程度上就是一般意义的弱势群体,只是随着信息时代的到来,他们又增加了一个信息贫乏的弱项而已。　In the process of informationizing,there is a group of people who are at a distinct disadvantage in knowing and exploiting information because of the function of information division.This group of people is regarded as information disadvantaged group.From a demographic point of view,the information disadvantaged group is characterized by the demographic characteristics of the elderly and disabled population,high female population,popularization of rural population,prominent less-educated population,the majority of poor employment population,significant population of low-status and low-income population concentration.From this analysis,we can see that the information disadvantaged group is to a large extent disadvantaged group in general.However,with the advent of the information age,the disadvantaged group in general have one more weak point as lack of information.
