摘　　要：讲座,作为图书馆服务功能的一项内容,随着时代的发展,近几年得到公共图书馆的普遍重视,它以内容丰富、方式生动、贴近民众等优点被广大听众接受和喜爱。图书馆热由此升温。文章阐述了公共图书馆可以通过举办讲座,拓宽服务领域、更好地传播科学文化知识、继而为提高公众科学文化素养做出贡献。In the recent years, lectures become known to the most readers and make a rapid progress as a kinf of libraries＇ service with the developing age. It＇ s been approved and loved because of its new form, abundant contents and close to people. As the result, the library has been committed deeply. This paper is mainly about how to broaden the fields of services, spread the knowledge about sicience and culture through the lectures. In a word, the library should take on charge of the cultivation of the people＇ s accomplishment.
