摘　　要：史景迁是一位人文色彩浓厚的史学家,其著史面向大众,注重史学知识的普及与社会化。大体而言,辩证的历史思维、以小见大的史学构思、移情式的心理追寻、文学化的历史叙事与自觉的社会史视野等构成了史氏著史的特征。史氏的著史风格是与其自身的治史理念、东西方文史传统的影响以及20世纪60、70年代以来美国史学发展多元化的现状紧密联系的。围绕史氏的治史风格,学界有不同的品评。在这些品评的背后,体现的则是不同史学认知的冲突与交融。Jonathan D. Spence is a famous historian, who is interested in writing Chinese history for the America public. Generally speaking, there are many characters concerning his writing styles, such as the dialectic thinking of history, the empathetic search for the psychology of historical figures, the emphasis of literary effect in the history writing, self-conscious view of social history and so on. As for his unique writing styles, the historical thought of Spence is the intrinsic cause, which we should explore deeply. Furthermore, the traditional literary and history influences of the oriental and western world play an important role in the making of his historical thought. Finally, at the end of 20th century, the diversity of historiography in the US contributes the external environment. Of course, there are many different judgments surrounding the historical writing of Spence. Behind these different judgment there are the confliction and blend among different thoughts and styles.
