摘　　要：知识贫困是导致弱势群体经济贫困的根本原因,公共图书馆对弱势群体的知识援助是从根本上帮助他们解决贫困问题,提高其素质的有效途径之一,公共图书馆对弱势群体实施知识援助应进行调查研究,建立弱势群体用户信息管理档案;由政府统筹规划,建立弱势群体知识援助的图书馆法律保障体系;增加设施,补充资源,开展多种形式的知识援助服务。Knowledge scarity remains the basic reason resulting in the weak groups＇ economic pauverty. The knowledge aid to the weak groups by public libraries will in essence help them solve the issue of pauverty and has become one of the effective ways to improve their quality. This kind of aid requires an investigation and research, working out the management files for the weak groups. Simultaneously governments should take into an overall consideration to establish the legal safeguard system, to add facilities, and to supplement resources so that various kinds of aid service may be carded out.
