摘　　要：大多数高强度气体放电(High IntensityDischarge,简称HID)灯在寿命后期均表现出整流效应,这将导致镇流器及其相关部件过载,必须采取适当的保护措施,以确保在整流效应出现时照明系统安全。主要介绍了高压钠灯(HighPressure SodiumLamp,简称HPS)在采用电子镇流器时所产生的整流效应及其带来的影响,并提出了检测及保护方法。Rectifying effect will appear in most HID lamps at the end of their lives.This will lead to overload in the ballast and other relative components.Therefore, proper methods should be taken to protect the lighting system from being destroyed when rectifying effects arise.The paper introduces the influence of rectifying effect on the ballasts, and detection and protection ways for this phenomenon are presented.
