泼尼松治疗早期流行性出血热临床试验

摘　　要：采用随机分配,同期对照、盲法评价,进行了泼尼松治疗早期流行性出血热临床试验。结果表明,试验组与对照组在病情各种指标间的差异均无显著性(P>0.05),提示泼尼松无明显疗效。A randomized concurrent controlled clinical trial by double blind method was conducted. 100 hospitalized patients with early EHF were divided into two groups: the treated group, consisting of 50 patients, received 20 mg of prednisone t.i.d. for 5 days; the control group, consisting of 49 patients, received placebo.Before either prednisone or placebo being given, the comparability of confounded variables between the groups was very much desirable. Two days after the treatment finished completely, the parameters in regard to outcome between the groups were compared respectively.None of the differences was of statistical significance (P>0.05). The differences of complications before recovery between the groups were also compared respectively. There was no statistical significance (P>0.05). All the patients but one in the treated group were cured. No obvious side-effect of prednisone was seen. These results show that prednisone is ineffective in treating early EHF.
