摘  要:以沉积岩石学特征以及沉积相特征为依据,在前人生物地层研究的基础上,对上扬子区早奥陶世的岩石地层系统、岩石地层分区及其相解释进行论述和介绍.On the basis of the work of predecessors and according to the researches of lithologic and lithofa-cies features of the regional Early Ordovician strata ,this paper divides the strata into three minor stratigraphical areas the easternarea, the middle area and the western area. The lithostratigraphical system in the eastern area is composed of Tongzi formation (Nanjingguan formation and Fenxiang fomation ),Honghuayuan formation and Davvan formation. The lithostrati-graphical system in the middle area is composed of Tongzi formation ,Honghuayuan formation and Meitan formation. The Jithostratiigraphical system in the western area is composed of Hongshiyan formation and Xiaqiaojia formation (Luohanpo formation , Gaodongkou formation and Dachengsi forma- tion in Emei). The eastern area is mainly composed of carbonate depsits, the western area is mainly composed of clastic deposits and the central area belongs to a transitional area. The whole Hthostratigraphical system of Early Ordovician in Upper Yangtze Region stands for a marine trangresion from early to late and from east to west.
