摘　　要：《红楼梦》是中国四大古典名著之一,以很大的篇幅描写了当时上层社会家庭的状况,包括财产的来源、分配以及继承等各种情况,这从一个侧面反映了清朝上层社会的继承制度。因此,分析《红楼梦》涉及继承制度的内容,对于了解清朝有关继承法制有重大意义,对完善我国当代的继承制度也具有参考价值。　A Dream of Red Mansions,as a classical masterpiece,is an encyclopedia of Chinese feudalistic society,with frequent depictions of the domestic property status of the citizen folk-ranging from the income source,to its distribution,and to its inheritance,which display the institution of inheritance of upper-class society in the Qing Dynasty.Thereby,a wide-ranging analysis of this establishment and the inheritance part in particular in this paper could be of no small significance for the understanding of the legal system in the Qing Dynasty.Such an understanding will,as the saying“history is an introspective mirror”goes,inspire the improvement of the institutions of marriage and the family in our country.
