摘　　要：文章分析了DOI的特点与原理，研究了DOI在数字图书馆的科技外文文献资源管理与服务中的作用，并且以NSTL为例，试图以点带面，具体探讨DOI的应用可能带来的效益，指出DOI的应用将对我国数字科技外文文献的资源共享起到积极的促进作用。The characteristics and principle of DOI were analyzed in this paper, and the function of DOI application in resource management and service of scientific and technological literatures in foreign languages researched. NSTL was taken as an instance for discussing concretely the possible benefits brought by DOI applicaWon, and it was indicated that DOI application is of positive promotion to the resource sharing of digital scientific and technological literatures in foreign languages in China.
