摘　　要：倡导社会阅读是一个国家提高国民文化素质的一项重要举措。目前,我国的社会阅读出现了种种不尽人意的状况,在诸多影响因素中,公共图书馆的阅读服务功能弱化是一个极其重要的原因。为了提高国民的阅读率,增强和培养国民的阅读习惯和阅读能力,必须重塑公共图书馆的社会阅读服务功能。Encouraging a socialized reading is an important measure to enhance the cultural attainment of the citizen. At present, service to readers of the society in our country is unsatisfactory. One of the important causes is the weakening of functions of libraries in their reading service. In order to increase the number of readers of the society, to improve the reading ability of the citizen, it is necessary to remold the functions of libraries.
