摘　　要：It is reported the first off-shore wind power unit will be constructed in Bohai Bay before the end of 2007. The project is sited in oil field No. 36-1 in Suizhong, 46 km from the sea shore of Bohai Bay. This off-shore wind power unit delivers its output through a 5-km long submarine cable to the isolated power grid of the oil field.
