摘　　要：IL-18是一种多功能的炎性细胞因子,可强烈诱生 IFN-γ,加强 FasL 介导的细胞毒效应,具有重要的免疫调节功能。近年研究发现,IL-18有增强免疫、抗肿瘤等作用,同时也参与某些自身免疫病、变态反应性疾病的发生,如类风湿性关节炎,它通过多种途径诱导 IFN-γ产生,在类风湿性关节炎的发病机制中起着重要的作用。Interleukin-18 （IL-18） is a kind of muhifunctional cytokine,it can induce strongly interferon gamma （IFN-γ） production . It plays an important role in immunoregulation . Recently investigations found that IL-18 can reinforce the immunity and play an important role in antitumour,and it may take part in the occurrence of some autoimmune diseases and allergic diseases , such as rheumatoid arthritis. It plays an important role in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis since its ability to induce IFN-γ production in many ways. This text will summarize the progress of the correlation of IL-18 and rheumatoid arthritis.
