摘　　要：通过对船舶在发生破舱进水后求其最终平衡水线位置常用二种方法的分析讨论，提出了一种新方法，这种方法能更快更有效地确定最终平衡水线，并在理论上证明这种方法是可行的．The two usual methods for the determination of the final waterline of the damaged vessel are reviewed. A new method which will tremendously reduces the calculation work has been developed based on the optimization theory.
