摘　　要：新华侨华人研究,具有重要的理论和实践意义。做好新移民的研究工作,有利于他们在当地长期生存和发展,有利于我国的改革开放和现代化建设,有利于我国同华侨华人所在国的关系,有利于所在国的民族团结和经济发展。近年来,国内外学术界对新华侨华人的研究取得了可喜的进展,既有宏观研究,也有微观研究,还有比较研究。但是以往的研究对现象解释多,理论探讨少,对策研究也不够。因此,我们应加强理论、方法和应用对策研究,掌握第一手资料,把握学术史的发展,弥补研究中的薄弱环节,深化新华侨华人研究。With regard to the research in new Chinese immigrant, it is of great practical and theoretical importance. It is conducive to the lives and development of new Chinese immigrants there and to China＇s reform and opening-up, besides, it helps improve the relationships between China and the countries in which they settle, and help promote these countries＇ national unity and economic development. Academically speaking, great progress has been made on the research which includes macroscopic study, microcosmic study, and comparative study as well. However, these researches paid more attention to the explanation on phenomena than to the theoretical analysis and countermeasures. Therefore, we should strengthen our research in theory, methods and countermeasures. We should try to collect the first - hand materials and keep pace with the development of the research history to deepen the research in new Chinese immigrants.
