摘　　要：本文从机顶盒的硬软件结构出发,就其硬件选择、菜单结构的规划、遥控器的选择及功能测试、性能测试和功能创新话题谈了自己的看法和观点,供同行参考。Model selection of STB is an important work throughout the process of the wholly shift to cable DTV.To meet users' habits and demands,how to choose products from many kinds of models,structures and function is a big issue which every operator must face.Based on analyzing the basic structure of STB,author brings up his own opinion about choice and test of STB's hardware configuration,menu structure and remote control.
