Physical constitution evaluation and body composition analysis of the military college students

摘  要:目的:了解军校大学生营养和发育状况,为制定营养改善计划提供科学依据;对生物电阻抗法和传统人体评价方法评价结果进行比较.方法:调查对象为417名军校学员,年龄为19~23岁,男225名,女192名,用生物电阻抗方法测量体成分,并对人体营养状况进行评价;同时用传统方法测量体质指数(BMI)和腰臀比等指标并进行评价,对几种评价结果进行比较.结果:使用理想体质量方法评价人体的营养状况,男女的肥胖率分别为0.4%和2.1%;使用体质指数法评价分别为3.6%和3.5%;使用腰臀比进行评价为15.1%和13.5%;使用生物电阻抗法评价则分别为0.9%和16.7%.同时上述营养状况评价方法中,使用生物电阻抗方法评价男女之间的肥胖率存在着统计学差异.结论:生物电阻抗方法可以测定人体体脂比,在诊断肥胖方面较其它评价体成分的方法更趋合理和科学.同时还可以测量细胞内、外液,蛋白质、矿物质含量等,有助于客观地评价机体的营养状况.AIM: To investigate the nutritional and developmen- tal status of military college students so as to provide scientific ba- sis for drawing up plans to improve students' nutritional status; to compare bioelectrical impedance and other methods in human body indices determination. METHODS: We surveyed 417 students (225 male and 192 female ) with the average ages ranging from 19 to 23. Bioelectrical impedance was employed to determine their body composition, and then their nutritional status was assessed. The obtained results were compared with those of the traditional body indices determination methods such as body mass index (BMI) and waist-hip ratio. RESULTS: The over- weight rates in male and female subjects were 0.4% and 2.1% respectively with BMI, 3. 6% and 3. 5% BMI, 15.1% and 13.5% with waist-hip ratio, and 0.9% and 16.7% with bioelec- trical impedance analysis (BIA). In addition, BIA was the only method to determine that the overweight rate of female was statisti- cally higher than that of male. CONCLUSION: Bioelectrical im- pedance may be a more objective and scientific method in measuring the ratio of body fat and be more advantageous in assessing such nutritional indexes as intracellular and extracellular fluid, protein mass, and mineral mass over other methods.
