摘　　要：The Shawshank redemption tells us a story about Andy Duresne-how he is wrongly sentenced to prison for murdering his wife, moves on his life in the prison and at last wins his freedom. This story gives us encouragement to fight to preserve the dignity of human beings, to appreciate the beauty of life, and the most important, to keep faith and hope forever. It is faith that redeems hope.
