摘　　要：无论是中西传统文化,还是马克思主义,都关注着"和谐社会"的可能性及其建构路径等问题。从多元文化视角出发,针对当下中国的现实问题,认为政治文明建设除了继续抓好执政党自身建设、稳步推进政治体制改革外,还应该着力解决增强公民素质、提高执政能力、完善民主法制、协调各种关系和保障基本人权等问题。Institute of Comparative Political Culture, Xiaogan University, Hubei Province The possibility and methods of building harmonious society have been discussed in the Chinese and Western cultures, and in Marxism as well, with lots of enlightening fruits. The author, aiming at the realistic problems in present China, discusses some concrete tasks in the construction of the political civilization at the view of plural cultures, with his emphasis on strengthening the citizens＇ qualities, enhancing the officals＇ ability in power, improving the democracy and legality, coordinating relations of all kinds, and preserving the fundamental human rights
