摘　　要：根据中国气象局整编的1949~2003年台风年鉴资料,对南海热带气旋的源地、消亡地、强度、移向移速、活跃地等纬向分布的特征进行分析,旨在为南海热带气旋各纬度带的活动特征,为南海热带气旋的预报业务工作提供参考依据,并为研究工作奠定基础.Based on the tropical cyclone（TC） yearbook data from 1949 to 2003,the latitudinal distribution of TC movement in South China Sea,with parameters such as climatic characteristics of TC genesis,disappearance position,intensity,intensity,movement and activity,is analyzed.The results is to provide the data for TC forecasting in South China Sea and to lay a base for research work in future.
