摘  要:对IP网络组网的多协议标记交换(MPLS)技术及弹性分组数据环(RPR)技术进行了介绍。MPLS可以将IP网络第二层的高速交换能力和第三层的灵活特性结合起来,使IP网络具备高速交换、流量控制、快速解决网络延迟和阻塞等性能;RPR为互逆双环拓扑结构,双环都能够传送数据,采用共享带宽方式实现各节点对带宽资源的利用,故障自愈能力强。作为实例,重点描述了MPLS技术及RPR技术在江门电力城域网中的应用。最后阐述了MPLS网络与RPR传输网的相结合比传统的IP网络所具有的技术优势,以及它们在现阶段所存在的一些缺陷。This paper introduces the multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) and resilient packet ring (RPR) techniques in IP networking. MPLS can integrate the speedy switching ability of the second layer in the IP network with the flexibility of the third layer, thus endowing the IP network with such properties as speedy switching, flow control and rapid resolution of network delay and block. RPR adopts bidirectional dual-ring topology, and both rings can transfer data. It realizes the utilization of bandwidth resources by each station through bandwidth sharing, and is of strong self-healing capability in case of faults. This paper emphatically describes the application of the two techniques in Jiangmen power metropolitan area network, and expounds the technical advantages of combined MPLS network and RPR transmission network over conventional IP network. The defects of the two techniques at present are indicated as well.
