区域社会史的革命——评赵世瑜著《小历史与大历史》

摘　　要：赵世瑜的《小历史与大历史》是区域社会史领域的一部重要著作。从方法论意义上讲,《小历史与大历史》等著作所探索的区域社会史,由于不仅包含了科泽勒克(Reinhart Koselleck)所区分的三种"重写历史的方式"——新材料、对材料的新的解读模式、新的阐释视角,而且强调"走向历史现场",倡导"整体史"和"结构过程史"的史学理念,因此对于质疑、重新思考甚至颠覆传统史学的政治史范式、历史叙述框架以及历史阐释模式,无疑具有重要的理论价值和实践意义,可以称做是当代中国历史学界的一场"区域社会史的革命"。The ＇histories＇ and ＇History＇ by Mr Zhao Shiyu is a representative work in the field of regional social history. In methodology the author＇s exploration of regional social history included not only Reinhart Koselleck＇s classification of the three methods of rewriting history---new sources, new interpretation of sources, and new approach to sources, but also the emphasis on going to the historical scene, advocating the conception of restructuring total history （histotre-global） and ,structuring history. Therefore the book has great theoretical and practical significance in questioning, rethinking, and even overthrowing the traditional pattern of studying history, the traditional narrative pattern and interpretive pattern. It could be called a revolution of regional social history in contemporary Chinese historiography.
