摘　　要：《诺斯托罗莫》被西方评论家公认为康拉德的代表作。怀疑主义是这部作品贯穿首尾的主题。在对小说中怀疑主义以及康拉德创作心理的分析中,可以说明怀疑主义不仅标志着康拉德创作转型的开始,也使得这部作品同时具有了一种深刻的思想史意义。Nostromo is publicly recognized as the representative work of Conrad. Skepticism is the main theme that runs through the whole story. By analyzing the skepticism embodied in the novel and the psychology of Conrad, this paper attempts to reveal that skepticism does not only mark the beginning of the transformation of Conrad＇s novel writing, but also provide the novel with a profound significance of intellectual history.
