摘　　要：分布式数据库技术的发展使得访问地理上分散的、数据结构不同的数据源成为可能。XML技术的出现使得不同数据源之间的数据交换得以实现。本文首先讨论了分布式数据库的概念,具体介绍了各种透明性技术。然后介绍XML技术的发展及应用。本文最后讨论将上述的技术应用于煤矿风机在线监测系统,以提高煤矿的安全生产能力。The development of distributed database technology makes it possible to access distributed and heterogeneous data sources. The emerging of XML technology implements the data exchanging between various data sources. Firstly, this pager discusses the concept of distributed database, introducing a variety of transparency technology. Secondly, the paper introduces the development and ap plication of XML technology. Finally, the paper discusses applying the technologies discussed above to the mine ventilator on-line monitoring system in order to enhance the production security of mines.
