庭审英语新闻报道中模糊限制语及其语用功能探析

摘　　要：新闻报道者常常借助于模糊限制语来客观、公正、准确地报道法庭审理的过程及结果。数据分析证明,庭审英语新闻报道中间接缓和型和范围变动型模糊限制语使用较多,主要是因为不同类别模糊限制语语用功能不同,如使用缓和型模糊限制语使报道更客观,更能委婉陈述作者观点等等。Hedges are widely used to help the reporters to report the court news in an objective, righteous and veracious manner. Statistics shows that attribution shields and rounders are frequently employed in court news report because of their special pragmatic function, such as to report the news objectively and to express the reporter＇ s opinion in an indirect manner, etc.
