For example, near infra red spectroscopy (NIRS) has been realized and applied to the clinical diagnosis of dysfuntion of adult human organs,including the brain,muscle and liver.This technique finds wide application from intensive care medicine to sport medicine,and from hospital to home.In addition,recent advances of optical science facilitate the development of optical CT and other optical diagnostic techniques. In the present paper, we introduced recent advances in optical diagnostic techniques in the world with showing our clinical and basic reseatch resuts of NIRS and other optical technique. Finally, we discussed current problems and the future of optical diagnositic techniques.
