摘　　要：2006年全球化学工业继续面对能源价格和原材料成本高涨的挑战。美国摆脱了飓风的影响,化工生产增长了2.5%;加拿大化工生产增长了1.3%;欧洲增长2.5%;韩国增长3.5%;只有日本减少了0.8%。化学工业的健康发展,使化学品贸易收获了一个好年景。进出口大幅增长,扩大了贸易顺差或减少了贸易逆差。化工公司为控制生产成本,继续减少或控制员工增长;但公司利润增长提高了投资愿望;兼并重组使化工公司竞争力提升。In year 2006 the global chemical industry continued to face the challenge of increasing of energy price and raw material cost. The U. S. A. had gotten away from the influence of hurricane disasters, its chemical production increased by 2.5% ,Canada increased by 1.3% ; Europe, 2.5%, Korea, 3.5%, and only Japan decreased, by 0.8%. The prosperity of chemical industry brought a good future for chemical wade. The import and export went up greatly, which improved the trade surplus or reduced the trade deficit. The chemical companies kept the numbers of employees to control cost, yet the increasing profit still increased the wish of investing, and mergers and restructuring upgraded the power of competition in those companies.
