摘　　要：类固醇激素合成急性调节蛋白StAR在胆固醇转化为类固醇激素的过程中具有重要作用。StAR表达于血管内皮细胞中,影响胆固醇代谢并受胆固醇、低密度脂蛋白、25-羟基胆固醇等脂类物质的调节,StAR可能参与脂质代谢平衡并在动脉粥样硬化的防治中起到重要作用。The steroidogenic acute regulatory protein（StAR） plays an important role in transforming cholesterol into steroid hormones.The latest study shows that StAR also expresses in the endothelial cells,influences cholesterol metabolism,and StAR is regulated by lipids including free cholesterol（CHO）,low-density lipoprotein（LDL）,and 25-hydroxycholesterol（25-OH）.Therefore,it is supposed that StAR plays an important role in cholesterol metabolism homeostasis,prevention and therapy of atherosclerosis.
