摘　　要：历经几千年的发展,修辞学又迎来了新的发展,呈现出勃勃生机。那么,是什么使修辞学研究长盛不衰?究其原因,在于它具有悠久的人文传统、先进的指导思想和科学的研究方法以及不可替代的现实功用。修辞学是连接语言系统和语言功能的桥梁,是指导我们在掌握语言的基础上有效、得体地驾驭语言的科学。开展修辞学研究对于我们掌握语言系统、提高言语交际能力大有裨益。After thousands of years, rhetorical study is seeing a new, vigorous development. The reasons for its everlasting vitality lie in its long-estabhshed liberal tradition, advanced guiding thoughts, scientific research methods, as well as its practicality. As a bridge between linguistic systems and linguistic functions, rhetoric is a science that guides us to aptly and eflqciendy use the language which we have knowledge of. Rhetorical study is beneficial to the mastery of linguistic system and to improving our communicative ability as well.
