摘　　要：编辑通过参加科研活动,可以直接从中亲身体验、观察科研活动的特点,发现和掌握其规律,进而能够提高筛选稿件、编辑加工稿件、组织稿件、学法、执法的能力,《韶关学院学报》在提高编辑学术水平上主要从以下两方面做了尝试:(1)重视各类各级别科研课题的申报工作;(2)充分发挥学报编辑部培养学术人才的作用.Being active in scientific pursuits, editors can experience and observe its characters personally, discover and grasp its rules, then help to develop abilities of manuscripts＇ selection; alternation, and abilities of studying and abiding by the law. Attempts of two aspects are made to improve editorial and academic level in Journal of Shaoguan University： （1） putting much emphasis on scientific projects declaration of all levels and forms; （2） making full use of the department＇ s abilities of training academic talented personnel, two of which have had a favorable result.
