摘　　要：土司制度下的酉阳直隶州酉水流域后溪等地总管官实行世袭制,受朝廷直辖、授封,为朝廷进贡、效力、出兵打仗。宋元时期酉阳酉水流域名义上受酉阳冉土司管辖,实际有相对较大的权力和自由空间。明朝晚期至清初,酉阳酉水流域白总管归冉土司有效统辖和控制。The headmen of Houxi and other places of Youshui Valley of Youyang State under the system of appointing national minority hereditary headman carried out the hereditary system, was led by the government directly, were enfeoffed, but paid tribute to the Emperor and worked and fought for the Emperor. In Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty, Youshui Valley of Youyang was, in name, led by Headman Ran of Youyang, however, actually had relatively big power and free space. At late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, Steward Bai of Youshui Valley of Youyang was effectively led and controlled by Headman Ran.
