摘　　要：占地1．4hm^2，建筑面积1688万m^2的奥地利林茨多媒体艺术中心，通过一种全新的建筑语汇——在现存老城区建筑形成的文脉中，嵌入极具现代气息的通体透明的玻璃体，使新老建筑在强烈的碰撞对比中交相辉映。透明的体量既突出了现存老建筑，又使老城区的中世纪狭小街道同新建筑的开放空间形成对比，形成充满活力和动感的城市空间。The center, covering a 1.4 ha site area and 168,800 sqm floor area, employs an unconventional architecture language. It seeks to contrast the existing context made up of aged buildings across the inner town with transparent glass boxes that provide a modern experience. Old buildings will become even more tangible against this transparent thinking, while those narrow lanes which came into being as early as in the medieval times more identifiable in contradistinction to those large open spaces in the new centre. This will bring along more vitality and dynamics to the city.
