摘　　要：1919-1920年发生的京教职员风潮,是一场政府欠薪、教职员索薪的运动,在当时并不算什么惊天动地的事情。由于政府处置失当,颇遭社会各界诟病。虽然这次风潮很快平息了,但其影响尚不至此止。从教育发展的角度看,其既是谋教育经费独立的先声,也是中国教育由传统向现代转型过程中里程碑式的篇章,意义重大。Because of the government owing salary, the teachers of Beijing stroke for begging for their own wages. It was not an important effect in society that time. The Government handled with it inappropriately, encountering the social pubhc objection. Although this mownent stopped very quickly its influences did not go to this. Seeing from the angle of the education development, It was not only striving for the education budget independence first a voice, but also China education from the tradition toward modem to transform the literary piece of the milestone type in the process, meaning graveness
