摘　　要：本文在对NGN网络中引入PSTN/ISDN仿真子系统PES进行简要介绍的基础上,讨论了PES子系统为连接到NGN中的传统固网终端提供PSTN/ISDN仿真业务的基本功能,并就目前存在的两种PES子系统的实现方式:即基于固网软交换的PES和基于IMS的PES的功能、特点、体系结构及两者间的优劣进行了分析和论述。结论认为,现阶段基于固网软交换的PES要比基于IMS的PES相对更加成熟,但基于IMS的PES却比基于固网软交换的PES更符合未来的发展趋势。Based on a brief introduction about the PSTN/ISDN Emulation Subsystem-PES in NGN, the basic emulation functions of PES served for traditional fixed terminals in NGN is discussed in this paper, and the function, characteristics, construction as well as contrast between them are also discussed. The conclusion is indicated that the study on CS-based PES is more advanced than the that of IMS-based PES, while the IMS-based PES style is more suitable with the developing direction.
